Welcome to my website. I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the work group Political System of Germany and scientific coordinator of the research training group “Social Embeddedness of Autonomous Cyber Physical Systems” (SEAS) at the University of Oldenburg/Germany.
I received my PhD from the University of Oldenburg (defense on March 17th, 2020) and hold an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Oldenburg and a Diploma in Business Administration (Dual Degree Program) from the University of Applied Sciences Magedburg-Stendal. Prior to my academic career, I worked as an auditing assistant and accountant.
My research employs a behavioral public administation perspective with an emphasis on attitudes and behavior of public servants. I am particularly interested in digital technologies in public services. Moreover, my work covers topics such as risk aversion, prosociality, and dishonesty among public servants. I specialized in using methods of causal inference.
